Best Dressed Grammy's 2013

The 6 amazing ladies have easily topped best dressed for me this year at the annual 55th Grammy Awards!

1. Kelly Rowland
In her amazing, daring, Georges Chakra Couture dress that hides just enough to give out that "classy" statement!

2. Taylor Swift
Shows her amazing skinny bod in a J Mendel grecian goddess gown! Simply stunning

3. Rihanna
In a "to die for" Azzedine Alaia dress that only just passed the Grammy dress code of not exposing any... fleshy bits haha! In all fairness her long dress flowed around her, yet again making another amazing fashion statement.

4. Katy Perry
Wow, her mint green, figure hugging Gucci dress had everyones eyes on her!
Her keyhole dress... dare I say it, left even Sir Elton John staring!

5. Beyonce
ahhh all hail queen B in a surprising black and white jumpsuit, a far cry from her revealing Superbowl outfit!! designed by young British Central Saint Martins (UAL) graduate Osman Yousefzada

6. Kimbra
Stayed loyal to her roots, with a Perth-based designer Jamie Lee dress. Her two kilograms of western australian freshwater pearls and sequin dress (amazing, I know) left me in awe!

who topped you best dressed at the Grammy's 2013?!

1 Apple
1/4 Lime
Ginger root shavings
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 teaspoon Acai Berry Powder
1 Glass of water

Throwback

Who doesn't love a good walk down memory lane? A cute afternoon going through baby pics and seeing how much you've changed... or in my case, not at all? Sometimes you don't remember the moment but a small picture can say a lot and mean a lot!

Here are my 'Throwback' pics

Yesterday I bumped into Kosovar diplomats Ambassador Lirim Grejcevci and Deputy Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Petrit Selimi to speak about #Instakosova, a competition I have been chosen to judge in, for Kosovo's 5th independence. With him was British Member of Parliament Mark Pritchard. After meeting with them and speaking about #Instakosova and showing them the images that have struck me the most, I heard of a restaurant which intrigued me!

I then went for dinner with friends at an amazing restaurant inside the Corinthia hotel. A hotel with amazing interior with 3 restaurants inside and is said to be one of the best spa's in London. I had a lovely dinner at the Northhall restaurant and I enjoyed myself very much. Visit the Corinthia Hotel Website (www.corinthia.com) . I take no credit for the images below as I haven't taken them myself but I would love to share them with you:)

Fancy That?!

Well sometimes I must say things like this just fall into my hands! So after school I head out to Oxford Circus, Topshop for a quick shop as I had nothing to do (btw bought a cuteee furry red jumper) and I spot a girl, so she looks familiar and then there's a body guard a couple feet behind and i'm like okay casual and then a girl holding her clothes... so i'm like HOLD THA PHONE this is someone i've seen before and I'm like omg it's Ciara shopping in Topshop!!! I quickly text my mate and tell her and she tells me to go take a picture... I look up and I can't find her so i decide to go to a floor below and there she is being crowded by sooo many people... I go up to her and ask her for a pic and she is so cool about it and said we should do a selfie... FINE BY ME! so this is all I could take (wish I looked better and my pout wasnt so forced but oh well)!!

Do you have any funny stories like this?!

Back to Liverpool

Back to Liverpool I went to go see my girl Wallis Day for the weekend! Rian also came from Rugby but due to the heavy snow it took us both about 4 hours to get there on a fast train with Virgin Trains. I was so gutted because we had to wait so long. But finally we got to Liverpool went to Walis' new flat and had the biggest giggles and catch up sesh ever! Dances and midnight mini feast followed by having the radiator start leaking at 4am in the morning... so DIY was needed. Now i'm sure you can imagine three girls trying to fix a radiator (lets not get into dirty details haha)!! After we let the water settle during the night, in the morn we called the plumber who had to take the whole radiator out so we had no central heating for the next day we were there as the boiler pressure was out... fab! After all the plumber morning drama was over we got the train to Manchester to meet a Fashion Designer 'Murabi by Nadine' who has her collection now in Selfridges! She was making a dress for my baby wallis for the National Television Awards...she had a fitting to attend, so we tagged along! After that we headed back to Liverpool quickly got dressed and headed to Gusto for strawberry Mojitos and an amazing dinner. Amazing dinner followed by a trip to a club called Alma De Cuba... I was so amazed at the interior!!!! Anyway all in all amazing week. before I bore you with any more details here are some pics :)

7 Things you need in your wardrobe

This season winter 2013 slowly coming to an end and to be honest I speak for myself and i'm sure for loads of you as well that I always end up leaving home with the most innappropriate clothes due to this unpredicatable weather soo I posted this to help us all out! We cannot go wrong with this whatever the weather...

make sure to have these essentials in your wardrobe this season:

1. Boyfriend coat - Beige, Burgundy, Blackor Grey : you can wear these with a massive jumper underneath if it's super cold or a hoodie if it's mild weather, on it's own when the weather is looking up (thank me later)... you can get these in Zara and Topshop for all the highstreet buyers and for you designer shoppers you can find these jackets at Opening Ceremony, Theory and Kenzo!

2. Blazers or any high-top sneakers-
Any colour any design as long as it's bot too messy and hard to combine with your other clothes in your wardrobe, then it's fine. These you can get in any sports shop if you're looking for a showing brand like nike or adidas otherwise you can get them in Topshop, H&M, River Island, Miss Selfridge or splash out on an amazing designer pair like Givenchy high-tops or Isabella Marant hidden heels if you just can't go a day without them :)

3. Leather Trousers- preferably in black
goes with everything, for both during the day and night. Zara have an amazing leather range and selection of them online or in store or for a perfect fit Miu Miu have cropped stretch leather pants as well as YSL, Valentino and Emilio Pucci who has a small gold zip pocket detail to make it extra special!

4. Chiffon Shirt - Any Colour that suits you best. I would go for a white, a pink and a black chiffon shirt but everyone has their own preferences... Get them at any vintage store, H&M, Topshop, Zara, Urban Outfitters and American Apparel. You can get them also at Jaeger, Calvin Klein and Michael by Michael Kors

5. Print t-shirt or sweatshirt- Any design any print, team it up with leather pants or jeans with high-tops, statement necklace and voila instant street style. I have had my eye on the sweatshirts by Balenciaga and Kenzo but in the meantime trying to find something that looks a bit like them design wise until my budget is a bit bigger hahaha!! Find sweatshirts and print tops at H&M who usually do ramones, pink floyd and Rolling Stones tops, Asos and try Camden Market for unique print shirts!

6. Matching top and bottom -
when in doubt of what to wear day or night pull out a matching top and skirt or corset and trousers, bold lippy, minimal make-up and your sorted! Get matching tops and bottoms in Topshop (I found mine) or at designer stores like L.K Bennet

7. Leather Jacket - Finally the last thing you need is a leather jacket of any sort, any weather any time of the year, any thing underneath as soon as you put on that leather jacket the deal is sealed no need to look any further you are sorted! Get nice leather jackets at Camden Market, Rokit, Warehouse, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Zara, All Saints or the super expensive YSL, MeadHam Kirchhoff for the colourful biker jacket, DKNY, Burburry Prorsum or amazing classic 'Grease' style Acne leather jacket!

My 2012

Well where do I start...

My 2012 was the best year yet, It was the year I officially started up my blog, the year I learnt about what I actually want to do with my life and where I want to be, the year where I can't remember one time I was actually upset...

I can say that this 2012 has brought me amazing friends, amazing opportunities and through it all obviously my amazing supportive family that have been there through my ups and downs no matter what! I would like to thank every single one of you for making my year, my life and my memories much more interesting so I have something to tell the grandkids :p

This year has consisted of many things and three of them have been partying, excessive shopping, and major calorie intakes hahaa I know why my new years resolution is......

I have achieved some goals this year and I know my next targets, I have had the time of my life and if this is the bottom I can't wait for what's coming for me next! Hard work and determination will get me what i want, love and humbleness will let me keep that.

Thank you 2012 YOU WERE GOOD TO ME! BRING ON 2013.......

Here are some of my 2012 memories the rest I keep for myself :)
